HYDE PARK
Hyde Park is a historic neighborhood located in central Austin, Texas, within the boundaries of 38th Street, 51st Street, Guadeloupe, Duval, and (north of 45th Street) Red River. Its homeowner association exists to foster and preserve the unique community, amenities, and historic character of Hyde Park. Their newsletter, The Pecan Press, is distributed monthly to about 2,000 homes in the neighborhood.
BARTON HILLS
Barton Hills is a small residential community nestled among the hills of south Austin along beautiful Barton Creek. Convenient to major thoroughfares, parks and downtown and next door to Zilker Park. Learn about the neighborhood's colorful history.
LOST CREEK
Lost Creek is located on the western edge of Austin with easy access to Lake Austin and downtown Austin via Loop 360, the Capital of Texas Highway. The average home price in 2007 was $450,000 and the neighborhood is home to the Lost Creek Country Club which features a championship golf course.
DAVENPORT RANCH
Davenport Ranch is located between Wild Basin Preserve and Lake Austin on the Capital of Texas Highway. A prestigious community, it features various sections and price ranges for higher end condos to sprawling homes set on the hillsides of northwest Austin.
LAKEWAY
The City of Lakeway offers something for everyone - from retirees who want to live on Lake Travis to growing families with teens who will enjoy the Lakeway Skate Park, approximately 9000 sq. ft. of combination bowl and street elements. BELTERRA
Belterra is a 1600 acre master planned community just west of Austin for people who appreciate the Hill Country and a conservation-focused neighborhood. It's in the Dripping Springs ISD and features miles and miles of walking and bike trails as well as a resort style pool complex.
CIRCLE C
Circle C Austin is the most recognized master planned community in Southwest Austin and known for its family friendly environment, ease of access to major freeways, and wonderful recreational ammenities, including an Olympic sized pool. The median price for a Circle C home is about $250,000. House range from 1500 to 4500 square feet.
TARRYTOWN
Located just west of downtown Austin, Tarrytown is one of the oldest and most sought-after neighborhoods due to its prime location and variety of homes both old and new. Tarrytown is bordered by Lake Austin and MoPac (Loop 1) and many of Austin's "old money" families call it home.
ROLLINGWOOD
The City of Rollingwood is literally minutes from downtown Austin and justly proud of its unique mix of residential architecture. The community of 1,450 residents is positioned on the West bank of Lake Austin and part of the highly acclaimed Eanes Independent School District. Rollingwood maintains its own police services and provides water, sewer and garbage services.
SPICEWOOD
Spicewood is a short - and scenic - trip out Hwy 71, northwest of Austin and the ideal location for a growing family who loves the outdoors. Most subdivisions include their own marina or access and park areas. The area surrounding Spicewood has numerous lake and creek settings to play in the sun, including the famous Pace Bend Park, featuring 1,368 acres landmass with 9 miles of Lake Travis waterfront.
